John Wick is attempting to survive after going against the society of killers.
It’s another fun Keanu Reeves film.
The knife fight close to the beginning is amazingly fun.
Stunts were well done.
Very little plot. What little was frenetic and didn’t really make sense.
Very little plot. So little, it deserves two mentions.
Pacing was off. Didn’t leave any time to breathe between action sequences.
Okay, so I think it’s safe to say we don’t go see a John Wick film to be moved by the finer plot details. Driven in that direction, this is not. We get a bit of backstory about Wick, someone he owes a life debt to, and the international association of killers that he belongs to. I don’t think any of it matters, does it? Biggest grief is it wasn’t paced like Crank. That movie is fun and frenetic where this one doesn’t carry the same manic energy that translates to enjoyment. It was okay, for sure. But, it’s getting tired and might be worth taking a break.
