Starring: Keanu Reeves, Common, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Ruby Rose, John LeguizamoPlot: I don't think there is one?Review: There's an old saying: "A flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long". I think the flame in this movie series has burned at least twice as hot as any other series in the past decade and certainly hasn't burned out yet. This sequel has as much action as the first and about the same plot line, just a tiny bit more fleshed out.It joins John Wick a couple weeks after the end of the first movie and has Wick trying to find his car that got wrecked at the end of the first one. It's in a warehouse guarded by Russians, led by the cousin of the villain from the first movie. The mob boss was played by Peter Stormare, a pretty badass actor who played the devil alongside Reeves in Constantine. This opening sequence was fantastic and had a really good commentary from Stormare about how badass the "Baba Yaga" has been in his lifetime. He says that Wick once killed 3 men with a pencil and then exclaims "Who the fuck can do that?!" In the end Wick gets his car and asks for peace.I won't get into the plot too much as I don't want any spoilers but this movie is super fun and as good as the first, though more or less the same movie. Has Keanu Reeves running around beating the shit out of people and killing them. A lot more hand to hand combat in this movie, which is awesome. I have seen this movie more than once and from what I can tell after critical viewing, Reeves and Common do their own stunts in the movie, which is phenomenal and, to me anyways, super impressive. A lot of ass kicking and a lot of pain throughout the movie. There were subtitles in the movie and those were slightly confusing to me, as they were really large font and had some different colours, but it made sense that the movie had them as much of it was in a different language. The same with the first one, this movie was directed by former stunt co-ordinators, so the action was amazing through the entire film. All the stunt men in this movie deserve awards.I did have a sleight problem with Ruby Rose. Not because she was poor in the movie, if anything I enjoyed her a lot. Merely that she has been in 3 movies this year already and it's not even March. She reminds me of a young Angelina Jolie, but I don't mean that as a compliment sadly. So many guns, so many cool scenes, so many, wait, Laurence Fishburne is in the movie too?! Yeah, he is, but he isn't cool, or remotely badass. He's very... difficult to me. If someone told me that he was legitimately insane and crazy I would immediately believe that. He just seems like a weird guy, but not in a bad way.I don't even think I need to say anything else about this movie. If you like action even the tiniest bit, watch it. If you like Keanu Reeves drinking a Coke and Smoking, that's why I put the picture there on the site. if you don't like fun or want a movie where everyone lives... probably don't watch it?
